Ponto-cho in Kyoto

Ponto-cho is a hanamachi district in Kyoto(geisha district) that is parallel to the Kamo-gawa River.

It is long and narrow road.I saw some women(maybe geisha) wearing yukata.

Lovery Chochin(japanese lanterns).

The one scene of summer evening in Kyoto.

Obiage is like a silk scarf,it is used for wearing kimono.

Fresh color.

These weaving are called 'Ro' which is a type of fabric made from silk.
It is used for summer season.

Next color is light cream. close to light yellow.

It was difficult to express an accurate color with a photograph.

and stripe? of light orange & white color.

This color also be useful for matching any colours of kimono and obi.
