Old items so it has worm-eaten spots.

But it is quite rare.

Akabeko is hariko doll in Aizu region japan.

The people in the Aizu call a cow "Beko" .
They had been believed for lucky charm to ward off evil and diseases
from long time ago.

Teng village In Kurama Kyoto part.1

I visited to  'Kurama' few weeks ago.

Kurama is in Kyoto,they say that the village of the Teng.

Many years had elapsed since my last visiting in Kurama.

The signboard of huge Teng welcomed to me.

That big face is probably over 3 meters length.

Big gate of Kurama Temple.

It is very old.

I find beautiful carving in a part of gate.

And I ate 'Mochi'(already as you know)...

Right side same 2 Mochi were so good.

Vintage a pair of Sake cup of old men face...

Here is so interesting japanese ochoko!

Ochoko means small Sake cup.

This Ochoko is able to use for ornament or sake cup.
It is vintage,
So I think that it is good for enjoy for ornament.

One side is for sake cup,

Another side is ornament of Old men's Face.

And...original old box also,so interesting shape,like Sensu(holding fan)

SAKE BOTTLE for Flower Vase

Many kind of liquer bottle are nice to use for another role.

Don't you think that is good to use for flower vase?

We can use for hanging wall with flower, or on your table.

This is something that can serve as the water bottle to pour liquor
such as the Awamori into.

It is so interesting that it is same with water bottle.

The water bottle is made by ceramic for Sake!

No face kokeshi!!

As for this kokeshi doll,
it was not forgotten to write a face.

This name of like this kokeshi are called 'kinakina'.
It is said to have been a kokeshi doll for the teething rings of the baby formerly.
